Its not a bug, itā€™s intentional. In settlements your horse canā€™t gallop. Out in the open your horse goes a lot faster, so itā€™s best to avoid crowded areas. I really can't imagine this is intentional. I'll be out exploring in a cave, and he'll run up some steps, and then when he gets to the top he'll slow to a crawl for 3 seconds then

X just set u on an follow waypoint mode, as if it would have an build in GPS, i can be mistaken, but i thought all other Assasin Creed games had an gallop button, to temporarily gain extra speed, wich would be useful for travel, or quick escapes. it just nWNquSQ.
