47 posts · Joined 2015. #5 · Jun 14, 2018. My Focus is a later 1.6TDCI without the additive (ceramic DPF ?), and I fully understand the need to drive these engines with a bit of verve at times. They do not like short journeys.or running at low revs in pursuit of that all important MPG figure. This will only lead to clogsville and frustration.

After 2500 km (approx 1500 miles) i had to top up the Adblue tank (10 liters). The onboard CPU estimates about 5000 KM (3000 miles) with a full tank. I assume this is "normal" but still in my opinion the consumption is excessive. I also had a look here : AdBlue®: consumption by make and vehicle. Do the test yourself!
The main AdBlue tank capacity is usually underneath the vehicle, just like the fuel tank. The container of the AdBlue obtained from the dealership normally comes with a nozzle through which you can refill the tank. You can also get the AdBlue from a fuel station that has a pump for that purpose. You can then proceed to refill the tank to its About Ford. The connector for the pressure/temperature sensor on the cold side of the intercooler had wiggled loose. Open your hood and look down between the radiator and the front corner of the passenger side headlight. The connector is on the top of the intercooler. Huntsman011. Save Share.

Scotty001. 73 posts · Joined 2015. #13 · Oct 21, 2021. I recently had the adblue low warning, the app indicator displayed the tank at 1/4 full and 800mi left, I added 10l (there was room for more) now the app shows the tank full and 8000mi left. Mk3 Kuga Titanium 1.5 Ecoblue -Solar Silver. MQlf8.
