Posted 27 January, 2021 (edited) There was an update for the scala and Kamiq between 8am and 8pm on the 26th January. For the update to work turn ignition on don't start the engine don't press the clutch pedal. Keep ignition on for 1 minute then turn off. Start as normal update done. If the engine does not start within 10 seconds, turn the key to position . My new Kamiq's stop-start system is hopeless. On stopping, the engine coughs and instantly restarts, so I just turn it off. My MkII Superb 1.4tsi stop/start works very well. You don't really notice it when you stop until you drop the clutch to set off and you hear a brief whir of the starter motor.
