Unfortunately, the books have not been completed yet, with still two left to come out. There is still no timeline for the release of them either. However, it is still definitely worth a read because of the reasons I mentioned above and more. And quite frankly, the books are very addictive, and you will rarely get bored.

Season 1 - A Game of Thrones (Book 1) Season 2 - A Clash of Kings (Book 2) Season 3 - A Storm of Swords (Book 3) Season 4 - A Storm of Swords (Book 3) and little bits of A Feast for Crows and Dance with Dragons. Season 5 - A Feast for Crows (no Dorne parts in show tho 😢) and A Dance wit Dragons (Books 4 & 5) After “A Game of Thrones” by George R.R. Martin tells the tale of various clashing households and their quest to conquer control over the seven kingdoms. Set in a distant, but vaguely familiar medieval-Europe, the story bears parallels to England’s “War of the Roses,” while also introducing its share of unique fantasy elements. HBO’s hit series A GAME OF THRONES is based on George R. R. Martin’s internationally bestselling series A SONG OF ICE AND FIRE, the greatest fantasy epic of the modern age. A GAME OF THRONES is the first volume in the series. Summers span decades. Winter can last a lifetime. And the struggle for the Iron Throne has begun.

This article contains full spoilers for Game of Thrones' latest episode, "The Long Night." It also includes discussion around key plot points from George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire

With A Game of Thrones, George R. R. Martin launched a genuine masterpiece, bringing together the best the genre has to offer. Mystery, intrigue, romance, and adventure fill the pages of this magnificent saga, the first volume in an epic series. Long ago, in a time forgotten, a preternatural event threw the seasons out of balance. There are plenty of really incredible books out there to read so don't get caught up on this one. At 13, no one had told me about Ender's Game, and that's a shame. If you haven't read that, definitely do so. And after you finish it and love it, there's a bunch more books in the series to enjoy. 49. wz8Q.
